CICOPS

The development cooperation activities of the University of Pavia are coordinated by the Commission for International Development and Cooperation (CICOPS). Established in 1984 as Italy's first interdepartmental service center of its kind, CICOPS aims to promote academic cooperation with developing countries and foster relationships between the University and its partner universities in these nations.

The Commission plays an important role in connecting institutional activities with the development cooperation projects carried out by the 18 Departments of the University of Pavia, each of which is represented by its own member within the Commission.
