Cooperation and Development Network
Established in Pavia in 1997, the Cooperation and Development Network (CDN) is long-standing partnership gathering several postgraduate programs in different countries and three Italian civil society organizations (CSOs) committed to international cooperation and sustainable human development.
The purpose of the network is to train professionals in development cooperation by means of higher education and traineeship programs. These courses involve international students from different academic and cultural backgrounds from all over the world.

- VIS (Volontariato Internazionale per lo Sviluppo)
In Pavia, the CDN is active through the Master Program in Cooperation and Development, the first Master’s Program in the field of international cooperation established in Italy, running continuously since 1997, and carried out with the significant support of three Italian NGOs – CISP, COOPI, and VIS.
The CDN has been awarded with the important is label of UNESCO UNITWIN Network on International Cooperation and Development.
This network fosters the exchange of teachers, researchers,and students, through intensive courses, webinars, and summer and winter schools dedicated to the culture of peace and sustainable human development.
