Description:
The aim of this project is to design and implement new methods for learning mathematics that are effective and valid even in distance learning contexts. The need for innovative teaching methodologies is particularly felt in the teaching of mathematics. As a consequence of the Covid-19 pandemic, most students (including many students with excellent levels in other disciplines and an interest in mathematics) have accumulated serious gaps that, if not addressed, could have repercussions during their university studies. The project will also pay particular attention to the needs of students with special needs, especially students with hearing impairments and disabilities. For such students, distance or hybrid teaching is particularly challenging because hearing is particularly utilized in this context. The project aims to provide equal opportunities for success to both students without disabilities and students with disabilities. The desired final impact is to contribute to the development of young generations. This goal has a significant impact at the local, regional, national, European, and international levels because a solid preparation of the new generations is the engine of success for the society of tomorrow.
