The University of Pavia offers extensive library services, providing access to a wide range of resources across its numerous libraries, including collections for various disciplines, study spaces, consultation services, electronic catalogs and digital databases. Dedicated library staff are available to assist with library usage, ensuring that users can maximize these facilities during their stay.

The smart card, which can be requested during the in-person check-in with the Department Contact, entitles holders to the following library services:

• Library loans, upon registration at one of the University libraries;
• Access to the "Learning Space Cravino" (via Bassi 2, first floor), which is the new unified location for the Science Library (housing collections and services from the Physics, Chemistry, and Pharmacy libraries);
• Access to the San Tommaso Library (piazza del Lino 2);
• Access to certain library areas with controlled entry gates.
