The Overseas Exchange programme allows Undergraduate, Master and PhD students coming from Partner Universities to undertake a one-semester of mobility for studies at the University of Pavia.

Incoming students must be selected by their home institution and nominated to the University of Pavia.

  1. Be nominated by your home institution

  2. Fill in the online application [you will receive all the info about how to fill it in by mail after your official nomination]

  3. Fill in the Learning Agreement (The form must be signed by the student, by the home coordinator and by the UNIPV Dept Mobility Coordinators)

  4. Ask for a VISA (check here if needed)

  5. Ask for accommodation

  6. Take care of insurance issues

  7. Take care of health insurance

  8. Apply for an Italian course

  9. Students with disabilities

  • Be officially registered
    The official registration will be made online by the International Mobility Office. Students will receive all the useful information by mail.

  • Receive your arrival certificate
    You will receive your certificate of arrival from the International Mobility Office.

  • Ask for your permit of stay (if needed)

  • Access the Area riservata
    The Area Riservata is a personal area where you can find all the information regarding the academic career. As you are an exchange student, only a few sections will be useful to you (Home – Carriera – Libretto- Esami).

  • Activate your university email
    Upon your registration, you will receive on your personal e-mail address, informations on how to activate your University of Pavia e-mail address
    You must set up your UNIPV account in order to access the Area Riservata, the Wi-Fi service and the services provided by the University of Pavia.

  • Update the LA (if needed)
    Upon your arrival, you have to check your Learning Agreement with the updated academic offer and course timetable, get it signed by your UNIPV Erasmus Coordinator and bring it to us by:

    • the end of October for 1st semester
    • the end of March for 2nd semester
       

    You are also required to update the initial Learning Agreement with any changes (download documents).
    You must get it signed by your UNIPV Erasmus Coordinator and send it to us at [email protected]

  • Get your attendance certificate

  • Get your Transcript of Records
    All passed courses will be listed on your transcript but no failed courses will be listed. Only courses you have taken at the University of Pavia will appear on your transcript.

    In order to get your Transcript of Record it is necessary to pay a small fee (Marca da Bollo - state tax) of € 16 for each original certificate required.

    Online payment, by credit card, is possible.

    We kindly ask you to send us by email the receipt of payment together with the list of exams taken (including the eventual Italian language course).

    Please check in your Area Riservata that you have all the grades of the exams taken; if they are missing, write to the professor for registration.

    The transcript will be sent by 5 weeks from the end of the exchange period.

    Important note: the Transcript of record will be issued only in case of  passed exams and it will contain ONLY them.
