Becoming a Visiting PhD Student at our institution is possible only by invitation. Therefore, if you do not have a contact person yet, in order to facilitate your invitation process we recommend that you find an appropriate contact by visiting unipv.unifind.cineca.it
Once you have identified the staff member you would like to interact with, please send her/him an email including your CV (Curriculum Vitae/Resumé) to demonstrate your area of expertise and how an exchange would benefit both universities.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE After making arrangements with the appropriate staff member, if you have been selected as a Visiting PhD Student, in order to receive a formal invitation and be provided with key documents and services, you must register your data in the Visiting Staff application portal Please be aware that the application on the platform is only possible after contacting a Reference Professor and confirming a visiting period at the University of Pavia. Without completing these preliminary steps, the application will be rejected. ACCEPTANCE LETTER MANDATORY IN-PERSON CHECK-IN Before arriving in Pavia, you should write an email to your Department contact in order to schedule the mandatory in-person check-in, which must take place upon your arrival. The check-in, held at your Host Department, will officially start your stay and activate the services you are entitled to. |
